Hi! My name is Ruth, and I'm the founder of this little company called Simple Herbs and Tallow.
My family has moved a few times, and we’ve now settled in beautiful Idaho. The climate here is quite different from what we were used to. We really enjoy experiencing all four seasons—especially winter, with its snow, skiing, and ice skating! But, with all that frosty beauty comes one downside: the air is incredibly dry and crisp. Because of this, I developed a new hobby: making natural lotions for my family. These are lotions made with clean, wholesome ingredients—so pure you could eat them (though I don’t recommend it!).
They’re designed to deeply moisturize and help us thrive through the dry, cold months. As I began sharing them with friends and extended family, more and more people started asking for them. And now, we're open and ready to help even more people!
All of our products are made from organic ingredients. Most of the herbs we use come from our own organic garden, or we gather them from nearby forests and mountains.
